The Pointe Coupee Historical Society invites you to the Baton Rouge Magnet High Festival Singers Concert, under the direction of Robbie Giroir on Thursday, February 16 at 6:00pm!
The Festival Singers have performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center, and have toured internationally singing in the United Kingdom, Austria, Germany, France, Spain, Budapest, Prague, Ireland, and Italy. The Festival Singers performed at the Basilica of St. Peter, Vatican City, and in a public performance for Pope Benedict in his last audience in Rome. The choir, organized as a chamber choir in 1988, has received numerous awards and invitations to perform at many prestigious events including the inaugurations of five Louisiana governors. Come hear for yourself this fine group of young musicians before they head out to performances in the Netherlands!
