The Pointe Coupée Historical Society cordially invites music lovers to the third concert in this season’s Pelican State Chamber Music Series at the Julien Poydras Museum and Arts Center auditorium. OnSunday, January 22, at 3 PM, pianist Ivan Koska, cellist Thomaz Rodrigues, and violinist James Alexander will perform piano trios by Mozart and Dvorak. Professor Alexander directs the string program at Nicholls State University. The concert is free and open to the public. A reception with the musicians follows the concert. The Poydras Center is located at 500 West Main Street in historic downtown New Roads, Louisiana.
